This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application collects, uses, processes, stores, and safeguards your information when you register and interact with our platform.

To provide professional medical community networking, career services, and emergency blood donation coordination, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Personal Identity & Profile Information: Full name, professional email address, contact phone number, medical designation/specialization, and profile photograph.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): Posts, case discussions, clinical queries, announcements, workshop details, comments, and job listings you submit to the community.
- Voluntary Blood Donation Registry: Blood group, city, donation availability status, and emergency contact details if you choose to participate as a donor.
- Media & Document Attachments: Images, PDF documents, certificates, or CV attachments uploaded for verification or job postings.
- Technical & Device Data: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push tokens, device model, operating system version, and system diagnostic logs necessary for service delivery and push notification routing.
2. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data exclusively for legitimate operational and community networking purposes:
- To create, authenticate, and manage your professional user account.
- To provide an interactive feed of academic updates, workshops, and verified medical discussions.
- To connect qualified healthcare job seekers with healthcare institutions.
- To rapidly connect emergency blood seekers with verified voluntary blood donors.
- To deliver important account security alerts and real-time push notifications.
- To enforce community safety, conduct content moderation, and prevent spam or abusive activity.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising Disclosures
We do not sell, trade, or monetize your personal data to third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary for app functionality:
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Used to deliver real-time push notifications. Device tokens are processed securely via Google infrastructure.
- Google AdMob (Android Platform Only): On the Android version of the app, Google AdMob may serve advertisements in compliance with Google Play policies. Please note: Advertisements, ad personalization, and third-party advertising tracking are completely disabled on the Apple iOS version of this application.
- Legal & Safety Obligations: If required by law, subpoena, or governmental request to maintain user safety and regulatory compliance.
4. Community Safety & Zero-Tolerance Policy (UGC)
Zero-Tolerance Policy: Dr's Community maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against objectionable content, hate speech, harassment, abusive behavior, and impersonation.
Our platform incorporates multi-tiered moderation tools:
- In-App Reporting: Users can flag any objectionable post immediately via the 3-dot menu. Flagged content is queued for human moderation review within 24 hours.
- User Blocking: Users can instantly block any abusive member from within the app. Blocked users' posts and details are immediately hidden from the blocker's feed.
- Account Sanctions: Violating accounts are subject to immediate suspension, post removal, and permanent termination.
5. Account & Data Deletion (User Rights)
In accordance with Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play Data Safety requirements, you have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time:
- In-App Deletion: Navigate to Profile Tab > Delete Account, and confirm deletion. Your account, posts, blood donor registration, notifications, and active sessions will be permanently purged immediately.
- Web Deletion Portal: You can submit an online account deletion request via our dedicated Account Deletion Request Page.
- Email Deletion Request: You can email us at ihfydjbxhkc@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
6. Data Security & Storage
We employ industry-standard security safeguards, including HTTPS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, and role-based access controls to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
7. Children's Privacy
Dr's Community is designed exclusively for medical professionals, healthcare workers, and adult medical students. We do not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13. If you believe child data has been inadvertently submitted, please notify us immediately for deletion.
